Lost Ships are a great new Indie band whose songs are three minute guitar-based vignettes of UK slice of life, full of love, life and longing. Their latest album is called Atoms Collide Forever, and is well worth a listen.
Allying superb musicianship to a heartfelt and occasionally bittersweet lyricism, the tracks move from the melancholy to the uplifting often in the same song.
The band are breath of fresh air and a reminder of how strong the UK music scene is away from the headline acts of major festivals.
Make this the soundtrack of your summer!
