How I drew Game of Runes

I was asked if I used any AI when creating Game of Runes. The short answer is no.

Here’s my process for creating the images:

I start with a rough sketch using the cheapest possible biro pen and A4 notebook, both bought from the local supermarket while doing the weekly shopping.

Using this sketch as a reference I fire up Adobe illustrator and draw the thingm whatever the thing might be. The thing here being a swamp troll. Then I add the foreground and background and take the final image into Photoshop.

And thats it!
